PRISM

PRISM – Pittsburgh Region International Student Ministries

Overview

PRISM targets international students through a variety of programs. They include Sunday dinners, Bible studies, furniture giveaways, and conversation partners. The programs are intended to reach international students new to the area and those who are still learning English. Many of these students then go home after their schooling and reach unreached people groups with their exposure to Christianity in Pittsburgh.

Wallace currently supports PRISM through financial support. We also volunteer two times a year to host a Sunday dinner. This involves preparing a meal for 50-70 students. We then serve and enjoy a meal with the students, participate in a time of worship, and then converse and discuss questions about the topic of the evening.

Goals

To reach and disciple international students around Pittsburgh in order to reach the world.

How to Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved with PRISM. If they were to be involved with Wallace at PRISM it would require they prepare and serve food, and to meet and converse with international students.
