Unity Presbyterian Church’s Creatures Of The Creator Pet Ministry invites you to get a glimpse of our annual Pet Remembrance Service. Held each year in November, we pay tribute to your cherished pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge with music, scripture and a comforting message.

2026 COTC Dates to Remember
2026 COTC Grant Program for Rescues: Submissions accepted through April 30, Grant Award – by June 30
Saturday, June 6 _10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. -Blessing of the Animals- Bring your family pets to be personally blessed by UPC Pastor Karen Claassen. Local businesses and volunteers from animal rescues and community organizations will join us at this celebration of all animals.
Saturday, June 13th- 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m- Hearts & Paws Pet Adoption & Craft Fair- Meet us at the COTC booth! Discover adorable animals waiting to get adopted! Explore pet products and services, enjoy an “ask-a-vet” session, check out the kids’ corner, admire animal-themed art, indulge in festival food, and browse a huge silent auction and boutique. Hearts & Paws Ministry of Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park partners with COTC year-round to present community events celebrating animals.
Pet Supplies Plus/ Unity Presbyterian Church Food Pantry Donation Drive – Date TBD– Meet members of our pet ministry on COTC Donation Day at Pet Supplies Plus, Bridgeville. Enjoy special pet food discounts
and donate food or a financial gift to improve the lives of homeless cats and dogs and to help stretch the budgets of Unity’s Food Pantry clients.
Saturday, November 7 -11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. –Pet Service of Remembrance- A heartwarming service of prayer, music, poetry, Scripture readings, and photo tribute honoring our late pets. A complimentary light luncheon/reception will follow the hour-long tribute. Grief counseling will be available.
