Loving God Through Loving One Another.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. John 13:34

Breaking Bread

Breaking Bread is a fun and informal program by which Wallace members (singles or couples) get to dine in one another’s homes four times a year. The meals are not fancy or gourmet (meatloaf, sloppy joes, spaghetti or hotdogs are perfect). No Martha Stewarts or Julia Childs allowed! The schedule rotates so that each dinner will be made up of different Wallace members.

The Table Group

The Table is a fellowship and service group for young adults who are members or friends of members at Wallace church. They meet about once a month—for dinner, activities and service opportunities.

The Care Team

Members of The Care Team have a very altruistic and critical role at Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church. This group of volunteers visits with the shut-in or housebound members of the congregation. These include the handicapped, elderly, those in assisted living and nursing homes – or any individual who, for some reason, cannot physically make to church

The Comfort Group

The Comfort Group is a fellowship group at Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church whose purpose is to provide support and championship to those who have lost a loved one.  However, their planned outings are open to all members of the congregation.

The Scripture and the Arts Team

The Scripture and Arts team at Wallace Memorial is dedicated to continually nurturing our souls and spirituality through art. They conduct art-related events such as tours of the Carnegie Museums, art exhibitions and contests for local artists. These events are open to both the congregation and community at large. The team also conducts bible-based, art exploration sessions at the church to help foster a connection with the Divine so that it may manifest in our own work.
